Movement has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. I grew up dancing, and from an early age I experienced the joy of being deeply connected to my body. Not because of how it looked, but because of what it could do. Dance, particularly ballet, taught me confidence, discipline, expression, and the incredible freedom that comes from moving through the world with strength and purpose.
That relationship changed in my twenties. As my hormones shifted, my body changed in ways I could not control. I experienced weight gain, acne, and a version of myself that no longer reflected the expectations I had quietly carried for years. As a professional dancer, those changes deeply affected my confidence and my relationship with movement. Something that had always brought me joy suddenly became tangled with comparison, frustration, and the pressure to look a certain way.
That season forced me to ask a different question:
What if movement was never meant to be about "fixing" my body, but about honoring the one I already have?
I began redefining my relationship with exercise, choosing to focus on strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, and longevity instead of aesthetics or societal norms. I learned to see food as nourishment and support rather than an unhealthy tool for shrinking. The more I shifted my mindset, the more I rediscovered the joy that movement had always given me.
That transformation is what led me to teaching. Helping women reconnect with their bodies has become one of the greatest privileges of my life. I love watching someone discover that they are stronger than they believed, more capable than they imagined, and worthy of caring for themselves exactly as they are. My approach is rooted in helping women build confidence through movement and celebrating what their bodies are capable of.
I co-founded Rose Co because I believe women deserve a healthier conversation around movement and wellness. Exercise should never feel like punishment or a way to earn your worth. It should be an act of self-respect, self-care, and self-love. When we learn to show up for ourselves through movement, we strengthen not only our bodies, but our confidence, resilience, and the way we show up for every other part of our lives.
Reframing what movement means has been one of the most transformative gifts of my late twenties and thirties. My mission is to help other women experience that same freedom—to quiet the messages they've absorbed from culture and media, trust their bodies again, and discover that wellness isn't about becoming someone new. It's about coming home to yourself.
